THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD

I wish I could describe for you the scent of the air:

It's light and deep

And somewhat sweet

But fresh and green

With a tang of marine

It's clear and bright

And as twilight enfolds

It's silkiness blends

With calls of songbirds

Settling in for the night.
